Your first visit will be 60-75 minutes. Your PT will take a detailed oral history. Then, you’ll have a physical assessment and initial treatment. The treatment on your first visit may involve: exercises, stretching, taping, manual therapy, recommendations for lifestyle modifications, education, and other modalities.
You’ll leave with a clear sense of options for the next steps in your treatment plan.

It depends. If you have insurance, our office can verify your benefits to find out how much you will pay out-of-pocket for each visit. Then, you can compare to our sliding cash scale rates. If our sliding cash scale comes out in your favor, you may be better off just paying cash.
Additional considerations:
If you have insurance but opt to pay cash, we can provide you with a “superbill” that may go towards your out-of-network deductible.
If your insurance plan covers a limited number of visits, you can use your insurance until your visits run out and then switch to cash.
You may pay from an HSA or FSA.
